We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our friendly brain injury rehabilitation team at Ty Aberdafen located in Llanelli

The Role

Your role will include:

  • Reporting to and liaising with the Consultant Clinical & Neuro Psychologist and clinical team
  • Behavioural monitoring with observations, data gathering and analysis
  • Producing behavioural and emotional progress reports for review meetings
  • Supporting individual service users with weekly meetings and specific activities
  • Organising and facilitating groups
  • Completing outcome measures and assessments

We're looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

  • Upper Second Class Honors Degree (2:1) or higher in psychology or equivalent
  • Eligibility for BPS (British Psychological Society) graduate registration
  • Ability to present and teach others
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Experience of working with adults with complex disabilities
