Our client are a leading provider of sustainable farming solutions in the agricultural industry and are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to join the team.

As a specialist in plant, soil, and animal nutrition, they design, produce and distribute high added-value agronomic solutions internationally.

Their mission is to make a positive impact on the environment and promote sustainable farming practices with a range of products that will help reduce the cost whilst still delivering results to produce high yields.


The Role


The TSS will be responsible for growing and developing on-farm sales of the Unique & Premium Product Range in Fertilisers, Soil Conditioners, and Animal Nutrition/Welfare Solutions.


This role involves building long-term relationships with farmers and growers, conducting comprehensive soil, crop, and livestock analysis to formulate customised recommendations to farmers, and advising them on specialty products to meet their needs.


This role is a chance to travel daily through your territory and meet customers face to face, listening to their concerns and trying to come up with solutions but this job isn't just about sales - it's about building long term relationships with people who will want your advice as they continue to find ways to increase their yields.


Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need an agricultural degree or a strong agricultural background, strong communication skills, and commercial awareness.
  • You should have the desire for personal growth and passion for selfdevelopment, be able to work independently in a fieldbased role, and hold a full clean UK driving license.
  • BASIS or FACTS certification (or the willingness to work towards it) is also preferred.
  • As someone passionate about the arable industry this will give you a great opportunity to create your own business with the support of well respected, industry leading management.
