React Developer required by asset management client in London.

You MUST have the following:

  • Strong experience as a React Developer/Software Engineer/Programmer
  • Excellent JavaScript, TypeScript, and React skills
  • Experience in fixed income on the buy-side (bonds, credit, rates products)
  • Strong stakeholder interaction skills
  • Agile experience

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

  • Experience with Redux Saga, Ag-Grid
  • Knowledge of AWS or GCP
  • Background in finance/trading
  • Proficiency in Python

Role: React Developer required by London-based asset management client. You will be part of a team responsible for an in-house fixed income analysis application hosted on AWS with a React front end. You will work alongside another front-end developer and have the opportunity to contribute to the back end built in Python and Node. Skills in TypeScript, Ag-Grid, and Redux Saga are beneficial. UX experience is a plus. Experience in data-intensive applications is preferred.

Other technologies in use include Node, gRPC, protobuf, Apache Ignite, and Apache Airflow. The team follows a hybrid-working model with office presence required 1-2 times a week.

This environment combines a corporate setting with a start-up/fintech approach to technology. Standard working hours are 9-5.

Duration: 12-24 months

Rate: £500-750/day
