About the role
Working at Bloc is more than just "working at some hotel".

It's being part of a new hotel experience where our service and attention to detail ethic is second to none at every step of a guests stay.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will;

  • Work flexible hours (Monday to Sunday between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00, with at least two days off)
  • Overseeing your team to achieve the required standards of cleanliness presentation and care in all guest rooms and public areas
  • Check rooms and public areas
  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in scheduling rotas and arranging cover for holiday or sickness
  • Develop a positive relationship with all guests, colleagues, and visitors
  • Train Housekeeping Team Members and Porters on cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Report any maintenance and IT issues correctly
  • Work to improve productivity and efficiency of room cleaning
  • Ensure the guest rooms are cleaned, stocked and maintained to the required standard
  • Ensure the correct level of security for all guest belongings is achieved
  • Complete regular and accurate linen, equipment and toiletry stock checks
