We are a local family run business with an amazing team which we are currently expanding. We have a vacancy for a part-time experienced Kitchen / Cafe Assistant with an immediate start.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Preparation of all food
  • To understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements such as HACCP, Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Natasha's Law.
  • To clean and tidy all areas of the kitchen with the correct products following instruction and guidance contained in the cleaning schedules ensuring it is always cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in full, safe working order, immediately report any faults to Management.
  • To receive and unload new stock, store appropriately and rotate current stock correctly to maintain optimum freshness of all foodstuff.
  • To serve customers in the Cafe, taking and delivering food orders and making hot drinks.
  • Confident and committed with an eye for detail
  • A great team player who can support others under pressure
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • A person who takes pride in your work
  • Excellent personal hygiene.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the role in a busy kitchen is essential.

Job Types:

£8.75-£11.50 per hour
