You will also be required to complete an Electrical Apprenticeship as part of this role, at a local college. Further information to be provided.

What will I be doing?


As an Electrical Production Apprentice based on our own site in Cowes, Isle of Wight you will be working with a variety of products including strain gauges and systems, container weighing systems and electronic systems.


Some of your other responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical and Mechanical Assembly
  • Soldering a variety of products
  • Assisting in the assembly of Strainstall products
  • Electrical and fixed wire testing
  • General electrical maintenance

What experience do I need?
Our team consists of the best people, we should know, we trained them. We want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.

  • Willing to complete an Electrical qualification and attend college
  • Experience as an Electrician or Electricians Mate, ideal but not essential
  • Tech Savvy able to complete reports and easily understand the monitoring systems used, as well as the Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of load monitoring equipment or a background in electrical engineering would be an advantage
  • Willing to be flexible with working hours
