Location: Braintree – Field Based

Contract: Full-Time/Permanent

Salary: £25,170 + up to £3500 pa location allowance depending on your postcode. Potential to work overtime

Hours: Annualised hours of 2080 per year.

As an AA Signs Installer, you will be installing and removing AA signs and traffic management equipment for events and working either alone or as part of a team. You'll always go the extra mile for our customers.

You'll be part of a national team helping thousands of motorists find their way with clear recognisable, temporary directional signs and our traffic management service. You'll be supporting some of the UK's best and largest events, installing and removing instantly recognisable signs.

• Preparing, assembling and loading signs in preparation for installation.
• Installing and removing signs and equipment in line with plans ensuring accuracy at all times
• Working as part of a team in delivering traffic plans at larger events.
• Assisting other areas of AA commercial businesses where appropriate and directed.
• Liaising with the Operation Planning and Support Officer for assigned workloads.
• Customer liaison to understand requirements.
• Performing any other task as directed that may be necessary in the interest of the AA Signs business.

• Must hold full UK driving license (Category B)
• Basic IT skills (MS Office and role specific applications)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to read, understand and navigate using maps.
• Previous traffic management / highways experience is NOT essential, full training will be given if necessary.
