We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of middle and high school students


Career Teachers is on the lookout for a qualified Teacher with experience in teaching triple science and combined science GCSE at a secondary school in East Birmingham.


This is a full-time position starting in September, initially on a temporary basis with the possibility of turning into a permanent role. We are open to applications from both seasoned and ECT Chemistry Teachers.


The perfect candidate will possess a solid understanding of diverse teaching techniques, the skill to create engaging learning settings, and the drive to inspire students to reach their full potential.


Collaborating closely with peers to adapt teaching strategies.


Empowering students through innovative teaching approaches.


Tracking academic development and upholding disciplinary standards.


  • Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Previous experience teaching Science at key stages 3 and 4, focusing on Chemistry
  • Completed an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo a new check
  • Updated safeguarding training; access to FREE online Safeguarding training by Career Teachers
  • Provide a detailed 10-year career history and references for the past 2 years, including current and former employers.
