12 month FTC Project Manager - Chesterfield office based - Up to £45K

Your new companyHere is an opportunity for a 12 Month FTC working with a leading supplier in off grid energy, on site at the Head office in Chesterfield. You will be providing Project Management skills for a range of technical and business change projects. Working with thetechnical and business teams to support a "Value Driven" delivery mechanism by working within and following a structured approach. This will involve the creation of problem statements and defining business cases through detailed requirements gathering, projectdelivery and implementation, through to supporting, capturing and measuring benefits realisation.

Your new role Prioritise the project workstack, gaining consensus from senior stakeholders

  • Production of all key project documents to control and manage projects
  • Facilitation of workshops to derive business requirements and to identify process and system improvements
  • Hands on project management, managing a portfolio of projects
  • Prioritisation and allocation of work packages to team and business members
  • Securing resources from within the business and project team to deliver projects to time, cost and quality
  • Production of highlight reports and facilitation of Project Boards
  • Ensure that business stakeholders are fully engaged in specifying project requirements
  • Work with the team to identify changes in scope and manage these through prioritisation, backlog and change control processes
  • Facilitate scoping and estimating sessions at both Project Initiation level and through planning and replanning sessions within the project
  • Full project lifecycle experience of business change and technical projects

What you'll need to succeed Proven track record in Project Management and Business Analyst role(s)

  • Production and management of project documentation including, but not limited to, Project Charters, Project Plans and RAID logs
  • Experience of delivering successful business change process improvement projects
  • Experience of delivering complex technical (IT) and nontechnical projects
  • Experience of managing third party suppliers
  • Facilitation of cross functional workshops
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, prioritising workload
  • Good working knowledge of GDPR and Data Retention policies
  • Experience of working in the utilities sector
  • Good communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with all departments and key stakeholders at all levels
  • A team player and a clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • An organised and logical approach to solving problems
  • Proven ability to challenge the norm with good negotiation and influencing skills
  • Confident stakeholder manager
  • Flexibility to adapt and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Using own initiative to make decisions and highlight opportunities

What you'll get in returnSalary of up to £45,000 + A 12% discretionary bonus (paid at end of year)
25 days holiday, 6% employer pension contribution, bupa healthcare and dental, 4x death in service.
