The Theatre Healthcare Assistant is an important member of our operating theatre team, who provides support to our Registered Theatre Practitioners working within the department.

You will undertake a range of activities within theatre under the supervision and guidance of a Senior Theatre Healthcare Support Worker or Registered Theatre Practitioner.

The post-holder will also be able to work towards completion of the Care Certificate and in-house theatre competencies in order to progress.

Career progression is encouraged, and a number of our Theatre HCSW's have subsequently progressed onto Nurse or ODP training.
