Job Description
Lloyds is looking for an Associate to join the International Regulatory Development Team. As a part of this team, you will collaborate with the Lloyds Global Network to enhance and defend Lloyds licences and trading rights worldwide, ensuring international compliance.
The International Regulatory Development Associate's main responsibility is to work closely with various divisions within Lloyds, including teams in London and overseas offices, as well as regional regulatory and compliance managers to provide guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to regulatory changes, potential threats, and opportunities affecting Lloyds
- Support regulatory projects and initiatives, offering solutions to complex issues
- Engage with international regulators to uphold Lloyds' reputation and relationships
- Prepare briefs, responses to consultations, and market communications
- Organize regular country calls and maintain regulatory compliance tools
- Ensure Lloyds' adherence to international regulations and mitigate risks
Skills and Qualifications
- Team player with strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think strategically while focusing on details
- Excellent communication and drafting abilities
Knowledge Requirements
- Understanding of legal principles in a commercial context
- Knowledge of international regulatory environments and insurance markets
