To be a senior lead and participate in the provision of Family and Carer Interventions to people aged 14+ years with a first/recent experience of psychosis and to their families within the localities served by Kent & Medway

In particular:

To be responsible for the systematic provision of Specialist NICE concordant Family Interventions (Behavioural Family Therapy, Family Intervention (FI) for Psychosis and/or systemic family therapy) to service users and families in EIP, utilising, as appropriate ones own professional training.

To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, supervisory and evaluative) specialist family and carer interventions in these services taking substantial professional responsibility and exercising autonomous judgements in professional practice.

To be regularly responsible for management & clinical supervision of psychological therapies staff and providing specialist training placements for trainee clinical/counselling psychologists/art/FI therapists in EIPS.

To provide expertise in all aspects of Systemic Family Therapy to clients, carers and colleagues To lead, plan, coordinate and evaluate carer focussed education and support programmes
