Job Duties:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons to studentsAssess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedbackCreate a stimulating and safe learning environmentCollaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculumParticipate in school events and parent-teacher meetings

Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in a relevant scientific fieldStrong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific fieldExperience: Prior experience teaching science in a secondary school settingKnowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to inspire and motivate studentsStrong classroom management abilitiesProficiency in using technology for teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in EducationExperience working with students of diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:
The Science Teacher will work in a school environment, following the academic calendar with regular school hours. The role may involve additional duties such as extracurricular activities and staff meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
