About the role:


As a Quality Supervisor at PWR, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high product standards and ensuring that our products meet all necessary requirements before reaching our valued customers.


You will be responsible for:

  • Setting tasks, establishing priorities, and coordinating the Quality Inspection team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage quality team, conducting training, performance reviews and return to works.
  • Understand PWR and customer needs to maintain and develop effective quality control processes.
  • Review and prevent quality issues, manage equipment calibration, coordinate inspections, and liaise with external subcontractors.
  • Ensure PWR's Quality and Environmental Management Systems conforms to customer, internal, ISO900, regulatory and legal compliance standards.
  • Audit internal and external processes.
  • Develop gap analysis, timing plan and lead implementation for ISO14001 and AS9100 certification.
  • Oversee customer complaints and respond in a timely manner with customers.
  • Provide statistics, status of customer complaints and reports to the Senior Management Team as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Formal Engineering Qualifications (preferred).
  • Proficiency in quality inspection equipment and processes.
  • Ideally you will have some experience with Polyworks, Romer/Faro Arm/CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
  • Experience in quality assurance in particular managing QMS to ISO9001 standards.
  • AS9100, NADCAB or other aerospace and defence accreditations experience is desirable.
  • Experience with managing/responding to concession request and NCRs (Non-Conformance Report) with suppliers and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
  • Experience operating manufacturing environment.
