As they expand, they are in search of a skilled Mid-Senior UX Designer to become part of their team and contribute to the evolution of their user interfaces.

Position Overview: As a UX Designer, you will have a vital role in leading the design and implementation of user-focused digital experiences. Working closely with diverse teams, including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, you will create user-friendly, visually engaging, and highly efficient interfaces. By utilizing your expertise in user research, interaction design, and information architecture, you will contribute to refining our products and ensuring they align with the requirements and preferences of our diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end UX design processes, from conceptualization to final execution.
  • Perform user research, encompassing surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights into user actions and preferences.
  • Construct wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and convey design concepts efficiently.
  • Create high-fidelity mock-ups and design specifications for responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate extensively with product managers and engineers to seamlessly integrate design solutions.
  • Promote user-centric design principles and best practices within the organization.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to steer ongoing enhancement in UX design processes.

About You:

  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in a dynamic technology-oriented setting.
  • Should possess GDS expertise, ideally gained while working in the UK government sector.
  • Experience in creating prototypes, including clickable prototypes (hi-fi/lo-fi).
  • Proficient in design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Graphic Design.
  • Robust portfolio displaying various UX/UI design projects and your design methodology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for articulating and justifying design choices.
  • Experience in Agile development environments is a valuable asset.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus.
