Garment Presser

Duties:

  • Operate and maintain pressing equipment to press and finish garments
  • Inspect garments for any stains, damages, or defects before pressing
  • Follow proper pressing techniques to ensure quality results
  • Press garments according to specific instructions and customer preferences
  • Remove wrinkles, creases, and folds from garments using steam or heat press
  • Pay attention to detail to ensure garments are pressed correctly and look presentable
  • Fold and package pressed garments for storage or delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a presser in a hotel or dry cleaning setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of different fabric types and their pressing requirements
  • Ability to operate pressing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot stains or damages on garments
  • Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet production goals
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
