About the Trust


CSH Surrey are part of the NHS and are Surreys largest and longest established NHS community services provider and CSH is one of the 11 health and social care providers who are known as the Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership.


What you'll be responsible for:

  • Act as a central point of contact for the team when dealing with members of the public / outside agencies / other hospitals
  • Input data on computer systems and provide statistics when required
  • Virtual Ward already provide a seven day service and as we progress into a Shared Point of Access and integration with Social Care we will expect the post holder to be part of this service
  • Post holder will also be the first point of contact for the service and on occasions this can lead to changing activity to take immediate action

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Good working knowledge of administrative and secretarial practice
  • Good communication skills in dealing with professional staff, managing aggression and anxiety, people for whom English is not their first language.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
