WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


As an Area Housing Officer at Progress, your main responsibility will be delivering estate management and providing our customers with excellent service in accordance with current regulations.

You will play a crucial role in achieving high levels of communication and customer satisfaction while effectively resolving problems and maintaining a strong customer focus.

Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Group and external partners, such as the police and social services, is essential to succeed in this role.

Managing and meeting key performance targets will also be part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective delivery of estate management services, including but not limited to property inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing customer queries, concerns, and complaints while adhering to company policies and regulations.
Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving skills when dealing with challenging or antisocial behaviour, actively seeking resolutions to issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external networks to develop effective strategies ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.

What we need you to bring:
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, resilient, and possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for this position. Ideally, you should have experience in managing and addressing antisocial or challenging behaviour within a housing or similar environment.

Empathy towards individuals facing or causing antisocial behaviour is crucial, and you should exhibit creativity and determination when resolving issues.
