We have a vacancy for the role of as
Room Leader (job share) in our busy Baby Room. (aged 6weeks - 18months)

Wolds Childcare is a small setting which prides itself on its generous childcare ratios. We offer a home from home environment catering for children from 3 months to 5 years in age. Our daily routine focuses on plenty of real life, outdoor based activities and situations.


We are seeking to employ a highly motivated and hardworking Senior Early Years Educator, a qualification in childcare at a_
level 3 is the minimum we will require_.


You will need to demonstrate your commitment to children, treating every child as an individual and ensure their personal development needs are being met, in line with the EYFS and the nursery's approach.

You will do this by ensuring your key children's development records are up to date and fully reflect their individual progress and following thorough company policies and procedures.


Key attributes:

  • Being passionate about early years education & care and empowering our children to reach their maximum potential.
  • Excellent knowledge, understanding and recent experience of the EYFS Framework and regulatory requirements.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Duties:

  • To ensure the very highest standards of child development, care and nurturing is maintained and enhanced.
  • With guidance from room managers, plan and deliver the daily activities.
  • Be able to observe, plan and assess children's learning and development.
  • Be capable of maintaining children's development records and writing reports.
  • To develop professional relationships with parents and carers.
  • Work alongside senior management to achieve excellent standards.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment.
  • Be able to follow, implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
