Hours:
Part time,18.75 hrs per week

Working Pattern: 4 week rolling rota working set days (2 days one week and 3 days the next), Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm although flexibility required to work earlier/later as required

Salary:
£28,262.94, pro rata, per annum (£29,152, pro rata, per annum, is achieved after 18 months successful performance in the role)

The difference you will make as a Children's Specialist Support Worker


You will develop and deliver support services for children and young people aged up to 16 years old who have experienced and witnessed domestic abuse in order to ensure their safety and wellbeing.


Working with colleagues within the team and community-based services, you will ensure customers with complex needs are supported to the highest standards, using innovative approaches and will support colleagues to understand the latest developments in the field in accordance with best practise and in line with our policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for someone with:
*Proven track record of working with vulnerable children and/or young people
*The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and stakeholders in a confident manner and present information in a variety of situations
*A qualification in early years or young people
*Excellent IT and organisational skills

This role will be placed at female domestic abuse services and because of this we will be interviewing female applicants only.

You must also have a professional qualification degree in Health & Social Care for children, young people.
