Digital Print Operative

Visual Signs & Graphics is a well-established company renowned for its quality and service.

We specialise in producing a variety of products, including personalised gifts, signs and graphics, decorative window film, and decorative vinyl wraps.


Duties:

  • Operate and maintain print machines and vinyl cutters
  • Set up printing jobs according to specifications
  • Monitor quality throughout the production process
  • Packing and posting orders
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing machinery
  • Stock replenishment
  • General assistance of the production team in all aspects of the business as required training will be provided.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Required Skills:

  • Have a keen attention to detail and be an all rounder
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Be able to follow guidelines
  • Meet deadlines and manage time well
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if necessary
  • Physical ability to lift and move rolls of substrates and perform tasks that require standing

Qualifications:
Previous experience using the same machinery, or some similar types of processes would be preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday 8:30am 4:30pm
  • Friday 8:30am 3:00pm

You will be also required to work overtime and weekends during busy periods and Christmas. Notice will be provided.

Pay:
£11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
