You will be working in an infant school situated in Birmingham which has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas.
The children behave well and work hard, they are polite, sensible and respectful.Your new role
The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their happy, friendly and supportive team and to support the social, emotional and mental health well-being of the pupils who are experiencing difficulties in these areas.
Youmust share the belief that all children can succeed whatever their barriers to learning.What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- You will be calm, patient and resilient when working with challenging pupils
- Experience working with pupils with individual needs, particularly those with SEMH
- High expectations of yourself, our staff, children and parents
- Be passionate about supporting the teacher and children to deliver an excellent learning experience
- Excellent communication skills
