Introduction:

Our Accounts Payable Administrators are responsible for the smooth running of the department and delivering on our KPIs.

You will support our team with administration duties including filing, answering telephone calls, relaying messages, managing our Accounts Payable inbox, processing OCR's on iDocs and other adhoc duties.


This role is critical to delivering continuous improvement in our systems and processes to supports us to drive efficiencies in the administration required.

We want people that will find innovative ways to deliver these efficiencies using our existing systems to reduce the manual workloads, allowing the role holder to progress to more complex roles within the team and the wider shared services environment.


At InHealth we offer a variety of development opportunities through work-based learning opportunities, participation in digital projects and formal work based apprenticeships in various fields to allow our shared services teams can benefit from the latest thinking and approaches.

In early 2021, we began our automation journey in shared services using our new Robot Process Automation (RPA) robots.

This project will support us to deliver automation across our shared services on the rules based, administrative, repetitive tasks, freeing our teams up to focus on more complex activities that add value to our patients and operations teams.

This role will have opportunity to participate in this project, learning and developing critical digital automation and process management skills useful for the future of work.


What you will do:

  • Answer the Accounts Payable telephone, attempting resolution over the phone and escalating message to relevant team members.
  • Provide a positive service desk experience to key stakeholders and internal customers for all P2P queries.
  • Providing suppliers with remittance advices upon request.
  • Processing OCR's into drafts.
  • Filing hard and soft copy documentation.
  • Assisting the P2P team where required.
  • Checking the internal post trays & opening the post daily, scanning invoices to correct company inboxes and distributing statements and letters amongst the team.
  • Assist the team in creating 'cribsheets', standard operating processes and process maps.
  • Calling suppliers as requested by the team to provide with updates or requests for information.
  • Escalate queries following the right workflow.
  • Being proactive, escalate issues or opportunities.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency of administration and processes for the team.
  • Processing company credit cards.
  • Support the Accounts Payable Manager in adhoc activities.
