This is an opportunity to join our established Adult Physiotherapy team on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. This post is open to new graduates and established band 5 physiotherapists. Successful candidates will join our diverse team, who work across a range of clinical specialties within an acute care setting, rehabilitation and MSK outpatients.

You will work alongside colleagues to assess and treat patients across a range of clinical conditions with varying degrees of complexity. You will be responsible for delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well- being and optimise independent function. Main duties of the job You will work alongside senior physiotherapists and the wider MDT and your development will be supported by the inpatient leads. The post holder will be responsible for a designated clinical caseload, support is available in the form of supervisions and joint working. The role requires a dynamic physiotherapist who is able to work within the physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to the patient. The successful applicant will utilise their outstanding organisation and communication skills in order to support with the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients whilst achieving outstanding physiotherapy outcomes. This post will include working with a diverse range of conditions in highly complex patients with physical, psychological and social care needs. You will assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate individual programmes of care for patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Band 5 rotational physiotherapists have the exciting opportunity to rotate 6 monthly between the geographrical area covered by CDDFT. To use sound clinical judgement to prioritise patients ensuring effective use of resources. You will assist staff under your supervision to prioritise their caseloads and advise them on appropriate interventions in response to complex and routine cases on a daily basis. To demonstrate physical skills inclusive of dexterity, co-ordination and sensory skills to carry out physiotherapy assessment and interventions. To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your own work, including the management of patients in your care. Qualifications Essential

• BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
