About the role

  • This is a Finance Business Partnering role where you will get the opportunity to work with nonfinance colleagues as a key finance lead on specific projects.
  • You will be an integral part of a wider Project Team who provides Finance and Project Management with effective, timely and accurate financial information whilst acting as a key business partner.
  • Help deliver and control KPI's explaining variance to plan and suggesting corrective action where appropriate.
  • Report actual and forecast achievement against financial targets, including risks and opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of multiyear business plan and annual budget for your various projects.
  • Provide visibility and insight around financial objectives.
  • Financial management of longterm contracts including budgeting, forecasting, revenue & margin performance, intercompany trading, cash and FX management, financial reporting and customer reporting packs.
  • You will be encouraged to learn and lead on key financial aspects of throughout the business, such as management of Inter Company Trading, Forex management, reporting under IFRS and much more.
  • This role will allow you to demonstrate your ability to proactively and independently manage all aspects of project financial management and allow you to gain experience of working in a world leading multinational company.
What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Final Stages.
  • Sound technical accounting knowledge.
  • Previous experience of project accounting or accounting for long term contracts would be advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ideally exposure to Large Company ERP systems with associated reporting tools.
  • Ability to build strong and productive working relationships within multi discipline and multinational project and Finance teams, whilst maintaining independence and integrity.
