Our local authority client based in South London are urgently seeking an experienced Voids Surveyor.

Job Role


The surveyor's role is be expected to visit void properties in North and South Lambeth, carry out pre work surveys and use SOR codes to create job specifications for the works to be carried out by the Councils contractors and sub-contractors.


Post inspection surveys will also be part of the role to ensure the work is carried out to the correct standard.

The post holder is also responsible for managing variations and installing/removing key boxes from void properties.

What you'll need to succeed


You will need experience in a similar role as a Building Surveyor with proven knowledge of building inspections and identifying faults for repairs.

Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office is essential. Ideally you will need experience in working in a SocialHousing environment as well.
