Senior Charge Nurse Older People and Stroke

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this position is Mon to Sun, either 4 compressed or 5 days.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse position within Ward 6 (HASU) in RAH.
The post holder will be supported to develop managerial and leadership skills in order to lead the team within this 12 bedded Hyperacute Stroke Unit.
The post holder will work with the Lead Nurse and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence relevant learning within Older Peoples or Stroke care and will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
