Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time enthusiastic, vibrant, Social Worker, to work in our Community branch of the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service, We are based at the Bodmin Hospital site in Cornwall.
The Community Mental Health Rehabilitation team provides a service across the whole county of Cornwall supporting people recovering from complex and enduring mental health issues. The team operates alongside the inpatient facility, Fettle House, allowing the team to follow through a service offering a specific pathway for the patients as they resume/ establish independent lives outside of the hospital setting.
We take a person-centred approach in developing individualised dialogue plus care plans. In addition, the post holder will have a key role supporting and supervising junior team members as well as participating in the continued review and development of the rehabilitation service. Regular individual support and supervision is provided. This is a full-time post working 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job
o To provide experienced social work advice and information to other professionals within the team in relation to the legal frameworks across Social Care, Health and Criminal To communicate difficult and challenging information to patients and carerso To work closely with patients who have difficulties in managing their emotion and behaviouro To line manage and support the development of more junior staff such as Social Inclusion Workers in the team.
