We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Estimator, with the potential to move into a managerial role.
Our client is looking for an experienced internal sales professional with experience in the construction industry to nurture existing business and support the sales function.
Key duties and responsibilities for the Internal Sales Estimator role:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and develop some potential opportunities.
- Produce and provide quotations from technical drawings received from customers.
- Process orders and ensure sales enquiries are responded to in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reading drawings, taking measurements from drawings, and compile and send estimates to customers accordingly.
- Liaise with customers and respond to any pricing or order queries.
Key experience and skills required for the Internal Sales Estimator role:
- Prior experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of the construction industry and ability to reading drawings, and provide customers with accurate quotations.
- Experience developing potential customers and following up on sales leads.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Strong user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and tenacity.
