About the opportunity:

We've teamed up with a top-notch financial advisor support group located in Horsforth, Leeds. They're looking for a skilled Complaints Resolution Officer to be part of their squad, dealing with customer complaints with precision and fairness. This role is project-based, expected to last about 3 years. Your mission will be to investigate complaints, following regulations closely to provide satisfactory resolutions. It's crucial to document all details accurately and handle FOS escalations efficiently.

As the Complaints Resolution Officer, you'll also calculate redress and manage payments, liaising with third-party partners when needed. Being the main contact for clients, you'll communicate clearly and professionally through phone and writing. Time management is key here, ensuring all cases are closed within the set timeframe and complying with regulatory guidelines.

Ideal candidates should have experience in a similar role within finance, preferable in an IFA/Network setting. Holding a QCF Level 4 qualifications and understanding FCA Dispute Resolution and FOS guidelines is a must. If you excel in a challenging environment and are dedicated to fairness in resolving complaints, we want you on our team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in complaints resolution within financial services, especially in an IFA/Network environment.
  • QCF Level 4 qualification or in progress.
  • Familiarity with FCA Dispute Resolution and FOS guidelines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory products.
  • Natural investigative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Numeracy and accuracy.
  • Effective workload management and meeting targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with peers and stakeholders.
