Engineering Manager

To manage a team of Engineers and design technicians in a successful growing civil engineering company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the Engineering department/ workload
  • Defining, measuring and report upon department KPI
  • Supporting training and development on 3D Modelling and Engineering drawings
  • Management and development of works instructions
  • Technical trouble shooting
  • Working with Sales team to deliver customer requirements
  • Pricing and cost control within department
  • Monitoring and complying with Standards Compliance Advisor, Regs/ standards, and other industry bodies/accreditations

Experience:

  • Engineering principals
  • Strong programming skills
  • Experience of drawings using AutoCAD ideal
  • Be qualified to HND or degree level (preferred)
  • Experience managing or supervising a team, preferably in an administrative environment
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Possess good I.T. skills, including MS Office
  • Be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders
  • Be selfmotivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with mínimal supervision
  • Be a good team player, flexible with regards to tasks performed
