We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, caring, and adaptable individual to join our welcoming and committed team at Treeton C of E Primary School. The role will entail working Monday to Friday from 8.45 am to 3.30 pm and will involve engagement with both KS1 and KS2.

We seek an individual who possesses:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Recent experience in a primary school setting
  • Dedication to upholding and encouraging high standards of care, learning, and conduct
  • Proficiency in phonics and early reading
  • Preferably experience with learning interventions, but not compulsory
  • Familiarity with the assessment process and tracking progress
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and understand their needs
  • Flexibility to work across all key stages as needed
  • A solid foundation in numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills
  • Willingness to engage in further training and development opportunities
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality regarding school matters

The role will include:

  • Supporting students during whole-class instruction, in small groups, and/or individually in KS1 or KS2
  • Promoting positive behavior and attending to the educational, social, and emotional needs of individual students
  • Assisting with daily phonics sessions
  • Supervising lunchtimes daily
  • Operating within a set framework for supervision and overseeing designated learning activities
