Property Litigation Associate / Senior Associate
We are instructed on behalf of a very well-regarded national law firm seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate / Senior Associate to join their Property Litigation Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a 4+ PQE solicitor to work on a broad range of complex and high-profile property litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
– Advising on Restrictive Covenants and Easements: Provide expert advice on restrictive covenants and easements for site disposals, ensuring clients' interests are protected.
– 1954 Act Security of Tenure and Lease Renewals: Handle matters related to security of tenure and lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
– Court Action for NHS Trusts: Manage court actions to remove 'bed blockers' for NHS trusts, facilitating better use of healthcare facilities.
– Removing Squatters: Lead proceedings to remove squatters from central London properties, including obtaining interim possession orders (IPOs) for charitable organizations.
-GP Partnership Disputes: Represent clients in court proceedings and arbitrations involving disputes among GP partnerships.
-Dilapidations Disputes: Handle multi-million pound dilapidations disputes, ensuring clients achieve favorable outcomes.
-Break Notices: Advise on and manage the issuance of break notices to facilitate estate re-organization for clients.
-Judicial Review of Planning Decisions: Conduct judicial reviews of planning decisions, particularly for the development of clinical units.
-Recovery of Arrears: Oversee the recovery of arrears from commercial tenants, employing effective litigation strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
-Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in property litigation.
-Strong knowledge and experience in dealing with a wide range of property litigation matters.
-Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
-Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.
-Proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice and achieving successful outcomes for clients.
