About The Role

Every day brings new challenges in this role; your contributions will play a crucial part in the team's exceptional work. As a key player in leading the Occupational Therapy service in Adult Social Care, you will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of top-notch services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being part of a high-performing team dedicated to offering timely OT services to individuals

  • Embracing a strength-focused leadership approach
  • Fostering a positive attitude towards service enhancement and innovative practices

About The Team

Our well-established team comprises 3 locality teams overseen by an OT Team Manager, OT Lead Practitioner, Occupational Therapists, and Community Care Officers. Team members conduct functional assessments and provide recommendations using a strength-based methodology to assist individuals in achieving their goals and enhancing their independence.

We take pride in our friendly and supportive team environment. Many team members work both remotely and in the office, staying connected through MS Teams. Monthly team meetings offer a chance to come together and enjoy some delicious treats.

About you

The ideal candidate must possess a professional Occupational Therapy qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy) and maintain HCPC registration consistently.

Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork, including learning from and contributing to others' growth, is essential.
