Social Media Support Volunteer

Overview:
As a social media support volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the team to maintain our social media presence.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to gain experience while supporting a local service to grow and maintain its social media platforms and presence.
You will be led by the Volunteer Coordinator and given training around our service to support you in your role.
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Responsibilities:
Key Activities:
- Support the day to day updates/posting of information on Social Media pages.
- Manage our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Work with the team to create and post useful and creative content that will engage our current followers and grow our presence
- Lead on the development of new social media platforms and campaigns
- Keep up to date with awareness days/weeks and advertise internal and wider community events/campaigns/recruitment.
- Use social media to gain feedback to help grow and improve their service offer
- Ensure compliance within relevant organisational policies and procedures.
- Promote social media pages to relevant agencies and those who use our services
Volunteering at Change Grow Live
***- Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.

- Most of our volunteer opportunities don't need any special qualifications. We'll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, openminded and passionate about supporting people.
- Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don't need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved.
