Description
As Head of ALM you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring, on-time reporting of all liquidity, funding & market risk metrics. This will include all ILAAP metrics to incorporate RAS & Key Risk indicators (Creation of daily ILAAP Dashboard)
  • Ensure the group has sufficient cash and liquidity at all times, through coordinating regular cash flow forecasts, and regular stress testing.
  • Responsible for signing off all liquidity and market risk regulatory reports (incl LCR, NSFR, PRA110, Basis Risk)
  • Attend L-SREP Visits, supporting the Head of Policy & Planning in preparation and Board training for liquidity supervisory visits (L-SREP)
  • Support the Front office "Markets Team" in managing liquidity and hedging activities
  • Own the Banks FTP & Pricing Policy. Ensure consistent, transparent, and fair pricing is maintained across all business lines, taking into account all relevant risks under the framework and in line with the group's strategy
  • Provide greater transparency on product transfer pricing
  • Work with business lines and product owners to develop proposals to improve the sources and uses of liquidity
  • Develop and maintain all relevant frameworks, policies and standards, in line with the group's overall policy framework
  • Ensure compliance with new regulatory updates
  • Voting Member of Treasury Management Forum (TMF)
  • Regular attendee of Asset & Liability Management Committee (ALCo), primarily responsible for ALCo pack
  • Coach, train and develop the ALM team to ensure they have the necessary technical skills to meet the team's objectives

Profile
The successful individual needs to be;

  • Highly experienced in all areas of ALM at management level
  • Have an in depth knowledge and proven history of liquidity risk management and stress testing
  • Must have experience within UK retail banking and understand the framework of regulatory capital and liquidity within PRA, EBA, CRD IV, Basel II & 11
  • Must be highly IT and numerically literate
  • Ability to work in a high pressured and fastmoving environment, dealing with practical solutions
  • A clear and effective communicator, both written and oral
  • Awareness of nonALM related risk such as credit, operational, capital and legal
  • Advanced Excel skills
