We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Art Director to join our children's Design Eye team at Quarto, a global publisher of inspiring books for both adults and children. Working Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Operate a hybrid model with three days in our London office and two days remote.

About the Role:

As the Art Director, you will report to the Publisher and oversee the design needs of Design Eye, developing engaging children's books and managing the design team to meet business requirements and customer expectations.

  • Shaping the visual identity of the list with exceptional design, illustration, and typography
  • Proposing and developing innovative book, novelty, and box kit concepts
  • Translating cultural trends into market-relevant concepts
  • Contributing to the Publisher's strategic vision
  • Creating compelling sales and marketing materials
  • Training, managing, and supporting junior members of the team
  • Ensuring excellent cross-team workflow and communication
  • Fostering an environment aligned with Quarto's company values

About You:

We are looking for someone with a contemporary aesthetic, at least three years of experience in senior design roles in children's publishing, and the ability to manage diverse projects and teams effectively.
