Glebedale School is a co-educational day School, which helps educate and support Children aged between 5-19 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and additional complex behaviours.

Glebedale School is linked with 14 Residential residentialhomes and is located in Stoke-on-Trent. This site is OFSTED rated 'Good'.

The role

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with individual and small groups of pupils in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible


You will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom.

  • To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.
  • Improve the quality of pupils' learning in Science;
  • Have lead responsibility for Science across the secondary school and develop plans which identify clear targets and success criteria for its development and / or maintenance;
  • In consultation with the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school's curriculum;
  • To share the school's responsibility to support and promote the learning, personal development and wellbeing of all students.
