Become a Payroll Specialist
In this role, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our proactive and successful People Team.

Reporting to the Payroll Services Team Leader, you will play an important role in making sure our 4000 colleagues are paid correctly for the amazing work they do.

This is a busy role as you will also work closely with the Pay and Benefits Manager, supporting our ongoing projects within the payroll team.

Your Mission

  • End to end payroll processing in a large volume payroll
  • Looking after starters, Leavers and Changes paperwork
  • Manual calculations as required
  • AEO & DEA
  • Assisting colleagues with pay queries
  • Arranging auto enrolment for employees
  • FPS/EPS
  • Assist with preparation of ROI/IOM payrolls
  • Payroll reconciliation
  • Absence calculations/payments
  • Family Leave calculations
  • BACs processing
  • Offcycle payments
  • Overpayments

Skills that will set you apart

  • Experience of working in a highvolume, fastmoving environment
  • Previous retail sector experience is a plus
  • Experience of using iTrent would be amazing (don't worry, we'll show you how it works if you've not used it before)
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Experienced in large volume payroll (3,000+ employees)
  • Sound working knowledge of PAYE and National Insurance statutory requirements, statutory leave, manual calculations
  • Experienced in dealing with HMRC, RTI (FPS, EPS etc)
  • Up to date legislation knowledge (PENP, holiday pay, etc)
  • Knowledge of Company Pension Schemes, including Auto-Enrolment pension schemes
  • Preferable knowledge of ROI payroll taxation, including PRSI, USC, LPT and BIK
