The Exciting Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Trainer Assessor for physical education and school sports. This is a casual, short term role up to 3 days a week, for approximately 3 months.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Deliver all elements of the assessed standards including training, mentoring, learner reviews, timely feedback and assessment. Support apprentices on programme training to achieve mandatory qualifications and high grades for their End Point Assessments.
  • Take a "handson" approach with apprentices, coaching and demonstrating best practice in line with the new Standards
  • Maintain accurate apprenticeship, records, training plans/assessments through our eportfolio
  • Timely completion of paperwork to ensure that all learner records relating to their programme and study and workplace are accurate and up to date

What We Are Looking For:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
  • Relevant assessing qualification
  • L3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment or
  • L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (A1)
  • Occupational competency in the area of physical education and school sport
  • Have uptodate knowledge and understanding of school sport policy
