Job description

Job responsibilities

Assessdiagnose and treat patients with predominantly high-risk feet This will includefull screening for patients with, for example, diabetes mellitus wherenecessary using specialist equipment,

Carryingout detailed patient assessments, forming and evaluating treatment plans foreach patient.

Liaisewith patients, their careers, and others, with a view to education, empowerment,and improvement of clinical outcomes

Superviseand provide a point of reference for band 5 Podiatrists and PodiatryAssistants.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Registered with HCPC A certificate in administration of local anaesthetics A degree or equivalent qualification in Podiatric Medicine

Experience

Essential

Knowledge and understanding of Clinical Governance

Desirable

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of: Relevant Qualifications Registration with the relevant Registration Body
