Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary:
£46,464 (Pro-Rata)

Responsibilities include:

  • To lead motivate & inspire the individuals, teams and learners within your department.
  • Enhance the reputation of Cardiff & Vale College at all times, in terms of both day to day internal interactions with all levels of staff and students, and external contacts.
  • Promote and champion health, safety, wellbeing, equality and diversity within the Department and across a Welsh based Further Education College.
  • To work with the Head of Department to develop a curriculum that effectively meets the needs of individuals, employers and the community we serve, taking into account the sector priorities related to the department.
  • To ensure that staff are aware of their duties in relation to ALN legislative frameworks and associated codes and guidance.
  • To provide reports and analysis to the Head of Department on the quality of services/provision, utilising and driving relevant agreed Key Performance Indicators as indicated below.
Applicants must have a degree and a relevant teaching qualification. Welsh language skills would be desirable for this post.
