Are you dedicated and passionate about working as a Specialist Support Worker? We are currently looking for a Specialist Support Worker to join our team in Llanelli.


Rate:
£15.42 per hour

Duration: 3 months initially

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, 37 hrs/week

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support to Adults with Learning Disabilities
  • Enable service users to engage in various activities to accomplish goals
  • Implement health provisions and personal care for service users
  • Promote a respectful and independent environment for service users
  • Act as an advocate for each service user
  • Work collaboratively with professionals and develop relationships with service users' families
  • Ensure accurate documentation
Requirements:
  • Commitment to undertake necessary qualifications within a specified timeframe
  • Understanding of the needs of people with disabilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Enhanced Adult DBS required
