Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver complex programs within Amazon Freight Operations, finding simple structural solutions for intricate problems.
  • Support multiple strategic projects simultaneously, serving as the primary point of contact throughout different project stages.
  • Assist in framing new workstreams within Amazon Freight Operations, quantifying tasks, modeling resources, establishing processes, and implementing reporting systems.
  • Write Standards of Operations for new workstreams, ensure quality compliance, and provide operator training.
  • Establish and manage reporting mechanisms for strategic projects and workstreams through metrics, newsletters, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient program implementation and alignment on best practices.
  • Effectively communicate program milestones, requirements, and the vision to Amazon Freight leadership and stakeholders.
A Day in the Life:
As a Programme Manager, you will lead the planning, implementation, and enhancement of initiatives to ensure smooth operations. Working closely with Amazon colleagues, you'll identify new opportunities, encourage teamwork, and seek data-driven improvements for success.

About the Team:
Amazon Freight Europe is a transportation service provider utilizing Amazon's logistics network to deliver freight efficiently. The Amazon Freight Operations (AF Ops) team in Europe handles Shipper Support and Transportation Execution, playing a vital role in maintaining a seamless transportation network and enhancing Shipper Experience.
  • Locations: London, GBR
Basic Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs/projects
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite and/or SQL professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced project-management qualification
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience in operational environments or with technical teams
