As a

Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. You will provide essential support to students, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.

Requirements:

  • A strong desire to make a difference in students' lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions.
  • Hold a degree at 2:2 classification or higher.
  • Have a genuine desire and passion to work in the education sector.
  • Be a flexible, dynamic, and nurturing practitioner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Help students with their academic progress, including tasks such as reading, writing, and numeracy.
  • Support students' social and emotional wellbeing, promoting positive behaviour and interaction.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
