Required for school holidays from March various weeks are available
Highfield Pre-School is looking for enthusiastic Holiday Club Assistants for its Holiday Club which is running for 2-5 year olds.
The role will involve the following duties and responsibilities:
- To ensure the safekeeping of the children;
- To contribute to the development and delivery of a fun and stimulating programme of activities for the children to do during the Holiday Club;
- To assist with the setting up and clearing away of these activities each day;
- To welcome the children each morning and to settle them quickly into their first activities;
- To assist with escorting children to and from different activities as required;
- To supervise and encourage the children during their time in the Holiday Club during their activities and creative play;
- To offer assistance and support as required to both the children and the other staff;
- To ensure the staff team work together to provide an excellent experience for the child;
- To liaise with parents and carers at the beginning and end of each day.
Person specification:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (ideally);
- Experience of helping/working with younger children up to age 5;
- Able to bring fun and exciting ideas for activities;
- Enjoys being outdoors and running activities outside;
- First Aid would be an advantage.
