Role: Chef Vocational Trainer
Experience Required: No prior teaching/training experience necessary; the client will equip you with all the tools and support needed to become a qualified trainer.
What you could be doing now: Currently working as a Head Chef or Senior Chef, ideally with experience in fine dining and preparing dishes from scratch.
Location: Hybrid role with travel around Somerset & Wiltshire area (candidates must possess a driving license and have their own vehicle).

Your Role as a Chef Vocational Trainer:
Step into a role that offers the ideal mix of flexibility and hands-on involvement. Working remotely to cover Somerset & Wiltshire, you'll have the freedom to manage your own schedule while also engaging with learners in person.
What You'll Do:
- Coach and support apprentices in their learning journey, offering personalized guidance for their success.
- Deliver and integrate Functional Skills (maths and English) into the learning curriculum, equipping apprentices with key knowledge for their culinary careers.
- Conduct enrolments and initial assessments to tailor learning experiences to each apprentice's requirements.
- Deliver engaging virtual and face-to-face sessions, visiting various employer sites and workplaces within your region.
- Use a variety of assessment methods to assist apprentices in advancing through their qualifications.
- Act as a brand ambassador, spreading awareness and building partnerships within the local community.
About You:
Whether you're a Head Chef, Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or Chef de Partie, your extensive knowledge in kitchen operations, menu development, and culinary techniques enables you to understand the nuances of the role thoroughly. - Demonstrable experience at Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef De Partie level, along with a passion for teaching.
- Strong computer skills, vital for efficient administration.
- A valid Driving License and access to your vehicle for travel within your region.
