Hourly rate:
£11.00

Hours of Work: 08:00 - 16:00 Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Factory Labourers/Cleaners are fully trained and complete their planned schedules/reactive tasks in a safe and timely manner by maintaining a comprehensive team rota
  • Ensure all tasks are conducted safely and PPE is worn as required
  • Liaise with the client to ensure customer satisfaction with the service provided
  • Manage consumable stock levels and keep equipment in good working order
  • Carry out weekly (5S) inspections of the site to identify any facilities deterioration and report/address as applicable
  • Role model behaviour and values consistently with Atlas Company Values General Tasks:
  • To include but not limited to basic cleaning tasks (i.e. emptying bins/mopping/sweeping/vacuuming/floor scrubbing/washing/polishing/etc.)
  • Manual handling (including heavy lifting)
  • Deep cleans of industrial machinery, equipment and facilities
  • Operation and basic repairs of specialised cleaning equipment (i.e. rotary buffer/scrubber drier/industrial hot jet washer/wet vacs/use of barrel pumps/freddy/etc.)

Experience of the following would be beneficial.

  • It is essential that the applicant can demonstrate previous experience within a similar supervisory facilities role/environment ideally with a factory/engineering bias.
  • Continuous improvement methodologies to identify and implement opportunities for improvement within the facilities areas
  • Working in Confined Spaces or at height (i.e. pit digs, machine deep cleans or high level cleaning)
