Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Conducting surveillance activities to identify potential issues related to trading activities, such as market manipulation or insider trading
  • Analyzing trading data to identify patterns and trends that may require further investigation
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, including traders, compliance teams, and IT support, to address potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Keeping uptodate with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to electronic trading surveillance
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of MAR/Market Abuse Regulation
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field
