Job Duties:
  • Support students with diverse needs
  • Assist in implementing individual education plan targets
  • Utilise interventions and specialised equipment for student development
  • Provide emotional support and guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers and professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification or HLTA qualification
  • Degree in a relevant field
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of Makaton and other communication strategies
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Patience and empathy in supporting students
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in specific interventions such as music therapy or sensory occupational therapy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
